Personal service was the starting point

I set up RJC Legal because I wanted to personally handle my clients’ matters and keep client care at the centre of my work. A property transaction is a significant step, and the support you need will depend on your circumstances and how familiar you are with the process.

For me, personal service starts with listening. I want to understand what you are hoping to achieve and what matters to you about the move. That understanding helps me give you guidance that is relevant to your situation.

My aim is for you to feel comfortable asking questions and informed about the decisions ahead.

Experience built around property and people

My legal career began in criminal law in 2008, and I moved into conveyancing in 2013. I hold an LLB (Hons) law degree and have progressed through management roles to become a Partner and Deputy Head of Conveyancing at Burgh Thorpe Solicitors.

I have particular experience in new-build properties and shared ownership, alongside a broad range of residential property work. I help clients buy and sell homes, manage linked moves, remortgage and make changes to property ownership.

The property and circumstances may be different each time, but clear communication remains central to my approach. I explain the legal work in a way that helps you understand how it relates to your own transaction.

Support that reflects your circumstances

A first-time buyer may want to talk through unfamiliar terminology. Someone selling and buying together may be more concerned about how the two transactions fit together. An investor may know the process well but still have questions about a particular property.

I work with first-time buyers, home movers, families, sellers, landlords and residential investors. I take the time to understand the guidance you need rather than assuming that everyone wants the same level of explanation.

Let’s talk about your plans

Tell me about the property and what you are hoping to do. An initial conversation can establish the details needed for an estimate of fees and help you understand the next step.
